Introduction

Nanaimo Family Life is dedicated to the children, youth, and families of our community. Nanaimo Family Life exists to serve our clients and to whose welfare the board, staff, and volunteers dedicate themselves and their efforts.

Over the past 42 years, Nanaimo Family Life Association has personally and positively impacted over 70,000 people in the Nanaimo community by providing programs and services that supports people in achieving their full potential through all stages of life.

Nanaimo Family Life defines “family” as: biological relationships, legal relationships, work relationships and/or social, emotional relationships linking its members. We help individuals and families respond to personal challenges and external challenges in a way that fosters healthy relationships and healthy communities.

Many of our services are offered on a sliding scale, some can be accessed at no charge and others are offered at a set fee.

We continually develop and provide a variety of support services to the community both through working partnerships and Family Life initiated programs.
