Beyond  Blame

Beyond Blame is a 20-week program for men who are at risk of harming their partners or who are misusing power in their relationships.  This program offers men an opportunity to transform their relationship with power, take responsibility for their feelings, and learn how to relate to themselves and their families in positive and caring ways.

Senior Peer Counselling

Peer volunteers provide counselling and support to alleviate loneliness and isolation of seniors who are 55 years and older. The service is offered in the home and community. Seniors are encouraged to enjoy healthy ageing through physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. The program assumes an active advocacy role and referral to other community services for both seniors and their caregivers.  Referrals may be made either personally or through the community.

Volunteer Counselling Program

Provides affordable counselling services to individuals, couples and adolescents who are 14 years and older.  This program offers up to 8 counselling sessions with a focus on client-centered, solution-focused, and family systems perspectives.  Teen/parent mediation is also available.  The Volunteer Counselling Program offers low-cost workshops and support groups on a variety of topics.  This program also offers an extensive Volunteer Counselling Training Program.
