Counselling

Counselling is one way to help cope and overcome many challenges in life.

At NFLA we have skilled volunteers who complete a rigorous screening process and an intensive training program that prepares them to offer counselling services to those in need.

One-on-one accessible and affordable counselling is provided to individuals, couples, and youth. Our counselling approach is person centered and founded on the belief that each individual has vast resources within themselves that, when tapped into, can deepen self-understanding and insight and lead to growth, healing and change.  Our counselors help facilitate the journey to discover your resiliency and strength.

Counselling services in this program are based on a sliding scale and no one is turned away because of an inability to pay.

To access our services the first step is to fill out an intake form online or at our office during business hours.
