Volunteer with Better At Home

There are so many opportunities to volunteer with NFLA Better at Home!

If you enjoy working with older adults, this just might be the right fit for you!  Our volunteers provide a number of amazing services for our clients.  Sometimes simple companionship over a cup of tea is all that is required, but other more active adults enjoy shopping adventures or visiting the community center to participate in all sorts of wonderful programs.  Our volunteers choose how many hours per month, week, or day they wish to share with our clients.

We appreciated every hour that our volunteers contribute!

Help a senior matter.  All you need to do is drop into our office, pick up an application and provide a clean drivers abstract and a vulnerable sector criminal records check.  Once that step is finished, the Program Coordinator will have a conversation to determine where your incredible talents will best suit.  Our volunteers are our greatest asset and we are so grateful for your time and support.

We need volunteers in Ladysmith, Nanaimo, Lantzville and Gabriola Island!

Call today….you’ll be so glad you did.  250.754.3331.
